    Grape vines hang off of a chain link fence along my driveway, shading a group of peonies that bloom beautifully — if for a short time — every spring. I was entering this in a juried show and the woman who was cataloging the entries bought it on the spot.

    This creek meanders through a beautiful county park just outside of Media, PA. I was struck by the contrast betwrrn the dark tree and the brighter field and bank beyond. An early round of fall leaves floats leisurely by.
