I will post images of paintings as they are offered at auction on eBay.
Payment for eBay auctions or direct purchase through this site is through PayPal, but no PayPal account is necessary; they simply act as the credit card processor.
Allow at least 4 weeks for new oil paintings to dry and be given a light coat of wax medium or varnish before shipping. Gouache and casein paintings can be shipped immediately.
Paintings will be securely packaged for shipping and shipping charges of $8 will be added to the final auction price for shipping in the US and $21 USD for international shipping.
Please note the color of images on a computer screen can vary depending on the monitor and monitor settings. The color of the painting on your screen may appear different from the original.
Oil paintings will be given a light coating of wax medium or retouch varnish before shipping. This will offer some protection and still allow them to continue to dry. Oil paintings that have had at least 8-10 months to dry can be given a final varnish, if desired. Contact me for information.
The paintings are unframed.
6x8” and 5x7” are fairly standard frame sizes in the U.S. and frames can be ordered from many online sources if you can’t find what you want locally. I recommend a “plain air” style of frame for the oils on panel. Here is one supplier that I like for oil painting plein air frames, King of Frames. Small oil paintings on panels can also be displayed effectively by simply setting them on a small display easel. Gouache paintings, like all watercolors, should be matted and displayed in a frame under UV resistant glass, same for casein. Oil paintings on paper can be treated the same as watercolor, or can be mounted to a board by a framer.
